Đuro Šušnjić graduated in Philosophy and Russian Language from the University of Zagreb in 1959. He obtained his doctorate from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, with his thesis Concept of Law in Sociology, in 1965. In October 1971, he was appointed Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš. At the end of 1977, he was removed from his position for political reasons and subsequently relocated to Zagreb, where he served as a Scientific Advisor at the Institute for Social Research of the University of Zagreb. Đuro Šušnjić was appointed as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zadar, in 1979. A decade later, he moved to Novi Sad, where he was again appointed as a Full Professor. In 1993, he returned to the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where he continued until retirement. His extensive teaching experience across various universities and academic levels has enriched students with ideas advocating for universal values and the dignity of every individual, regardless of their religious, national, or racial background. Notable among his published books are Otpori Kritičkom Mišljenju, Kritika Sociološkog Metoda, Ribar Ljudskih Duša, Cvetovi i Tla, Znati i Verovati, Dijalog i Tolerancija, Religija I i II, and Drama Razumevanja.
Čedomir Čupić, a political scientist and Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, became widely known to the public in 2001 when he became a member, and later president, of the Anti-Corruption Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. He completed his high school education in Sombor and graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, where he also obtained his master's and doctoral degrees. From 1972 to 1981, Čedomir Čupić worked as a Journalist and Editor in the Editorial Office of the First Program of Radio Belgrade. In 1981, he was elected as an Assistant-trainee at the Faculty of Political Sciences, and he became a Full Professor in 2002. He is one of the founders of the Assembly of the Alternative Academic Education Network and the Association of Research Professors, and a permanent collaborator of the Belgrade Open School. His first political engagement was membership in the Council of the Otpor Student Movement from 1998 to 2000, and from 2000 to 2003, Čedomir Čupić was a member of the Council of the People's Otpor Movement and the representative on its electoral list in the 2003 elections. He is the author of eight books, over 150 articles and essays, and over 250 reviews of books and collections in the social sciences and philosophy, as well as the editor of several collections in these fields.
