This year’s Jazz Square consists of five concerts. Jazz musicians from Montenegro and the region will perform every Sunday during the Festival. Croatian ethno jazz singer Tamara Obrovac and Slovenian guitar player Uroš Rakovec, the actor Zijah Sokolović with Slovenian band “Lolita” in an unusual interpretation of Chekhov, Đorđe Obradović, a Kotor native with the degree from prestigious California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, as well as many other great musicians will perform at these concerts.

The series of concerts “Jazz Square” were made as a recognition of needs of many jazz fans who live in Kotor or visit it during the summer. Many important jazz musicians, such as Duško Gojković, Bojan Zulfikarpašić, Vasil Hadžimanov and Matija Dedić, have already performed at KotorArt during previous years. The last year’s edition of this series confirmed that the Museum Square, in front of the Maritime Museum and Evergreen Club, nurtures this jazz sound during the whole year and it makes a perfect ambience for a relaxing “jazz” Sunday!

This year’s Jazz Square is being organized with the support of Tourism Organization of Kotor.
