The unique Nemanja Radulović with the Double Sens Ensemble at the gala opening of the KotorArt Don Branko’s Music Days
Na svečanom otvaranju XXII KotorArt Don Brankovih dana muzike nastupiće svjetski priznati violinista Nemanja Radulović sa ansamblom Double Sens. Na programu pod nazivom Put oko svijeta, miljenik kotorske publike promovisaće numere sa novog albuma Roots, na kome je ispitivao granice world music žanra koji ga je inspirisao. Tradicionalno, svečano otvaranje Festivala će se održati 13. jula u prelijepom ambijentu pjace Katedrale Sv. Tripuna.
NEMANJA RADULOVIĆ, violinist, studied at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, the Saarlandes Hochschule für Musik und Theater (Saarbrücken), Stauffer Academy (Cremona), Conservatoire de Paris, and also learned from the famous Yehudi Menuhin. As a soloist, he has performed with the world’s leading orchestras in the world’s most prestigious halls, such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the hall of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Salle Pleyel (Paris), Suntory Hall (Tokyo) and Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires). Radulović is a founder and leading member of the ensemble The Devils’ Trills and Double Sens with which he released the CD 5 Seasons featuring the music of Vivaldi and Sedlar. He also recorded the compact discs Paganini Fantasy (2013) and Journey East (2014), and for the Deutsche Grammophon label, as their exclusive artist, the album Tshaikovsky (2017) featuring the Violin Concerto and Rococo Variations by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and for Warner Classics in 2021, the album Roots, which represents an enchanting sound journey inspired by his many influences and inspirations to this day. He was awarded the International Revelation of the Year (2005), Best Soloist of the Year (2014), ELLE Style Award for Musician of the Year (2015), then the October Award of the City of Belgrade and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Arts in Niš.
