KotorArt Academy and final concerts of the masterclass participants
KotorArt Academy continues the tradition of hosting music masterclasses, which began over two decades ago, at the inception of the Festival. Talented young artists from the country, the region, and around the world will gather in Kotor to further refine their musical and artistic skills under the mentorship of internationally recognized professors and multiple award-winning artists. This year's instructors include Gilles Apap for violin, who will be in Kotor from July 28 to August 1, and Kemal Gekić for piano, whose masterclasses will be held from August 10 to 14.
The final concert of the violin masterclass participants, led by Gilles Apap, is scheduled for August 1 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, starting at 7 p.m. The final concert of the piano masterclass participants, led by Kemal Gekić, is planned for August 14 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, also starting at 7 p.m.
Programs for young people, informal education, and the acquisition and exchange of knowledge and experiences remain a significant focus of the KotorArt International Festival this year. In addition to the traditional masterclasses for young musicians, this year's festival is offering the first workshops for music and theater professionals. We look forward to the final concerts of the masterclasses participants, which are very important for young artists, emphasized the Festival's PR department.
