Western Balkans Cooperation Project – Young Musicians' Cooperation and Advancement

This summer in Kotor, we will witness the grand finale of a #synergy project, which we are responsible for, and the beginning of a new four-year project, in which we are partners. We are proud to be partners of such serious organizations and institutions and that our ideas are recognized and valued by the EU. Many young artists have been and will be given the opportunity to create, exchange experiences and give concerts all over Europe, precisely because of such projects – the PR department of the Festival pointed out.

The goals of the project are to encourage cooperation, improve and connect young musicians, composers and organizations engaged in art music in the Western Balkans and throughout Europe. Over the course of four years, the project will bring together more than 400 young musical performers, composers and young journalists from the countries of the Western Balkans, who will attend workshops and master classes together, prepare concert programs and finally perform together on concert podiums throughout the Balkans and Western Europe. The project foresees the realization of 8 workshops and master classes for young musical performers, the publication of two open calls for composers, 8 concert tours with over 35 concerts in the countries participating in the project, as well as the realization of a series of workshops and 3 work tours for young journalists from the Western Balkans.
