Sunday, August 4th is reserved for the overture of these magnificent concerts of classical music. Popular actor Zijah Sokolović and Lolita ensemble will perform A ten scene humoresque for a jazz trio and one actor entitled The Bear, a piece Zijah wrote inspired by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov’s text. Entrance to this event is free and it is organized on the plateau in front of the Our Lady Temple in Prčanj starting at 10 pm.
We are expecting high quality concerts of classical music day after day. Young star of classical music Narek Hakhnazaryan, an Armenian celloist, will perform a whole evening recital made of the most important and at the same time the most popular pieces for solo cello in the Church of Holy Spirit, on Monday August 5th starting at 9.30 pm. We will have the opportunity to listen to compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, György Ligeti, Adam Hudojan, Gaspar Cassado and many others who will guide us through the retrospective of the history of cello. This kind of recital is a rare occasion and the ambience and acoustic of the Church of Holly Spirit provide the ideal conditions for this type of performance.

Roman & Friends is a traditional concert on KotorArt Don Branko Music Days and represents a true marathon of supreme chamber music performed by Roman Simović, our most renowned violinist, concert master of the London Symphony Orchestra who always gathers the best group of musicians. This year he will share the stage with Francesca Dega (violin), Milena Simović (viola), Blythe Teh Engstroem (viola), Simon Crawford - Phillips (piano).
What is special is the fact that we will be able to hear Narek Hakhnazaryan, not only as a solo artist but also as a chamber musician, since he is also one of the members of this year's Roman & Friends concert team. Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6th in the Church of Holy Spirit, beginning at 9.30 pm.

KotorArt Don Branko’s Music Days will symbolically summarize this year’s summer edition of the Festival. At the very beginning, as an upbeat, we had listened to Lena Kovačević and RTS Big Bend and in the end, as a kind of Coda, we will listen to Đorđe Obradović trio on the Jazz Square in Kotor. For the very ending we will relax with mellow notes of jazz music. The last Jazz Square is scheduled for Sunday, August 11th starting at 11 pm.
