The novel by Anto Staničić The Little Pirate marked a time and space that we remember gladly and come back to gladly whenever we can, through various projects. It was particularly inspirational to go back to Tivat after many years to do a play that would also be watched and performed so gladly. 

The Little Pirate play is, on the one hand , an homage to fine comics, adventurous scenes, and vibrant film directors, and on the other, is about facing and embracing our little hometowns and their inhabitants, who may not always be as kind-hearted as our heroes, those rare ones, who have the courage to be different and to be themselves. Our story puts wind in the sails of those who carry this grain of courage forth.
