With music recordings now more accessible than ever, thanks to the internet and numerous music platforms, copyrights are gaining new layers of interpretation and enforcement. Given that copyrights are directly linked to the professional careers of authors, both creators and performers, this legal area should be a focal point in the career development of every young artist. Accordingly, this year’s Young Artists Forum addresses the issues of copyrights, their implementation through Montenegrin legal regulations, and their practical repercussions.

The Young Artists Forum was initiated in 2023 to examine the position of young artists. United by a common goal, young artists, as the future leaders of the music scene in Montenegro, analyzed the situation, discussed, and proposed measures to contribute to its improvement and development, especially in the context of drafting future Action Plans for the implementation of the National Program for Culture Development 2023-2027.
