The KotorArt Academy for Music and Theater Professionals, a new segment of the KotorArt International Festival, was created to provide producers and cultural managers with a comprehensive overview of various activities in the domain of performing arts, with a focus on music and theater. The program of the Academy offers participants an in-depth look at various aspects of the music and performing arts scene through the lens of international cooperation. It focuses on artistic, production, administrative, financial, and legal issues within the regional and European context. Participants will attend expert lectures on different models of production and co-production, financing and support mechanisms, sustainability in the performing arts, touring strategies, and approaches to foreign markets. Workshops with selected mentors will allow participants to design and develop their own projects with a focus on practical work. Additionally, the program will introduce participants to various forms of regional and international cooperation and provide networking opportunities with other professionals in the field.
