Music & More SummerFest, a rising star among international classical music festivals, presents a unique two-week artistic experience of performance and individually tailored learning. Founded in 2018 by American pianist Tatjana Ranković, with the aim of establishing an intensive, interdisciplinary program that would offer a unique musical experience, the festival transpires over 2 immersive weeks and is designed for pianists, string players, singers, composers, and conductors. On this transformative journey, MMSF offers total artistic immersion, in which the faculty team of world-renowned musicians forge deep artistic connections with students through mastery of their craft and collaboration, mentorship, and collaborative concert performance. Music & More SummerFest is an unparalleled musical experience that transcends boundaries and inspires a lifelong passion for the art of music.

The string orchestra SummerFest Camerata is a premier festival ensemble where professors and select students collaborate and perform together. This highly prestigious position, awarded only to selected individuals, is intended for the most advanced students at the Music & More SummerFest, who work closely with the festival’s world-renowned faculty, including many members of the New York Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Vienna State Opera, and of numerous prestigious ensembles. French maestro Pascal Verault, Chief Conductor of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (Japan), serves as the Chief Conductor of the SummerFest Camerata orchestra.

Tatjana Ranković, pianist, is the founder and Director of the International Classical Music Festival and Music & More SummerFest Summer School in Trebinje. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under Professor Arbo Valdma, her postgraduate studies at the renowned Juilliard School in New York, under Professor Joseph Raieff, and her doctoral studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She is the recipient of numerous awards, scholarships, and the Golden Badge of the Ministry for Diaspora of the Republic of Serbia. Under the auspices of the US State Department, Tatjana Ranković held a series of concerts throughout Serbia and Montenegro as a cultural ambassador. She has performed extensively in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Central and South America, pushing the boundaries of traditional repertoire through constant exploration and discovery of new contemporary music. Tatjana Ranković has recorded for several respected record labels. As the first pianist to do so in history, she performed and recorded the First, Second, and Third Piano Concerto by Nicolas Flagello, with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and the Slovak Philharmonic. She is a professor at the Mannes College of Music of the New School University in New York City, and a visiting professor at the European Center for Peace and Development of the United Nations University for Peace in Belgrade.

Pascal Verrot, conductor, is the Chief Conductor of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan. Verrot studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and the Paris National Conservatory of Music. He gained recognition in the classical music world in 1985 when he received a special award at the Tokyo International Conducting Competition, after which he became Seiji Ozawa’s assistant at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Pascal Verrot has conducted the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and the Shinsei Nihon Symphony Orchestra in Japan, and has also served as the Music Director of the Orchestre de Picardie and Opéra de Dijon and the Artistic Director of the Thétre Impérial de Compiègne. As a guest conductor he has been engaged in Japan, the USA, Russia, and France, and has worked with symphony orchestras in Montreal, Toronto, Utah, with the Pacific Symphony, and with the Tokyo Philharmonic. His conducting repertoire includes operas by Mozart, Gounod, Massenet, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Debussy, and Prokofiev. Pascal Verrot made his debut in 1989 as the conductor of Die Fledermaus at the Lyon Opera House. He conducted Faust at the opening of the New Shanghai Opera House. In Tokyo, he conducted Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Così fan tutte. Pascal Verrot received the Prix Claude Rostand for conducting Prokofiev’s opera L’amore delle tre melarance in 2010 at the Opéra de Dijon.
