The heroes of our show are three penguins who, under various circumstances, received news from a pigeon about the Flood covering the Earth and Noah who is planning to embark two representatives of each species, this evening at 8, on his ark. Two penguins decide that they won’t leave the third, youngest penguin and cunningly smuggling him in a suitcase, they embark the ark filled with animals from around the Earth.
The story by German author Ulrich Hub is an ode to friendship, solidarity, and tolerance. The refined style, with a lot of humor, and cheerful burlesque, which is never caricaturing, affirms this story as among the greatest European discoveries for younger audiences in recent years. This show will teach us about the penguin effect through a story about mutual connection and creating co-existence, stimulating the imagination to discover different horizons through curiosity. The penguins wonder if God exists, and if so, then why is he invisible. They wonder is it worth avoiding the great flood, in which their best friend will disappear, even if the said friend is a boring nag.
