ANDRIJA JOVOVIĆ, pianist, after completing studies at the Vasа Pavić Music School in Podgorica, under Professor Lidija Skender, went on to study Piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), under Professor Nataša Veljković. He has won numerous awards at national and international competitions, including first prizes at the following festivals: Petar Konjović (Belgrade), Citta di Avezano (Roma), Pjetro Gaci (Shkodra), the Youth Music Festival (Herceg Novi), and Banja Luka Biennale, among others. Esteemed members of juries, including professors and heads of piano departments in Rome, Milan, Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, and Novi Sad, have commented in particular on how his youthful talent is combined with a very professional tone and impeccable musicality. In August 2015, Andrija Jovović represented his country at the summer festival of the IPSIA Italian cultural network in Prizren, where from among 65 young musicians he was chosen and awarded with participation at the master class held by pianist Pierliugi di Tella. He has also attended master classes of the renowned pedagogues Dmitry Bashkirov, Vladimir Viardo, Yuri Kot, Boris Kraljević, Horst Leichtfried, Aleksandar Serdar, and Bojan Martinović.
