Project title: Beotura

Summary

Beotura, with its flagship offering, "Definitive Guide to Belgrade's History," provides unique values to potential clients when compared to existing solutions. We believe this critical deconstruction of historical narratives will raise awareness of practices of remembrance, common history and values, thereby strengthening a sense of unity that transcends national differences.
The educational sector has demonstrated a growing interest in integrating Information Technology (IT) into teaching strategies, and apps featuring historical and cultural content are well-aligned with these emerging trends. Educational apps, especially those fostering interactive and experiential learning, provide teachers with equipped toolkit for onsite learning activities. We also noted the potential of contested historical sites as spaces for teaching, learning, and working towards social and historical justice.

Over the past three years, our team has been dedicated to the development of Beotura. During this period, we focused on researching, developing, and testing the idea to make it functional for users. We created the initial prototype of the application, showcasing basic functionalities and design concepts, and tested it with users in a school environment. This allowed us to gather feedback, receive positive reactions from users, and convinced us of the potential for a successful launch of our product into the market. Hana is responsible for visual and digital look of the app and social media, while Andrija is working on maintaining the app and website from the IT point.
